My name is Andre Rainey, former Mayor of Peekskill, NY, current Chair of the National Parents Organization New York Chapter, and President of Fathers Are Important. Today, I write to you with gratitude and a hopeful spirit for the work we do on behalf of fathers, shared parenting, mental health, and family support across New York State.

Thank you sincerely for the critical role your group plays in advocating for fathers’ rights, family equity, and emotional wellness. Every voice, every action, every hour you dedicate moves us closer to the change our families deserve. Today I want to recognize how our united efforts will create a louder voice and a greater impact.
